Tintern Abbey was one of the two locations. A long abandoned abbey, that I believe was founded by a ancestor back in the 12th century, it is in a beautiful setting in Wales. See for yourself.
“The chief beauty about time is that you cannot waste it in advance. The next year, the next day, the next hour are lying ready for you, as perfect, as unspoiled, as if you had never wasted or misapplied a single moment in all your life. You can turn over a new leaf every hour if you choose.” ― Arnold Bennett

Tintern Abbey
On the last full day staying in our first cottage in Ross-On-Wye we visited two locations recommended by the owners of the cottage we were staying in. We hadn't made any official plans for the day, figuring we would do some exploring in the locale we were in. After being invited to the main house for drinks with out hosts and a nice discussion with them, we decided to visit these locations nearby.
Tintern Abbey was one of the two locations. A long abandoned abbey, that I believe was founded by a ancestor back in the 12th century, it is in a beautiful setting in Wales. See for yourself.
