The farm of Beatrix Potter, Hilltop Farm, was one of the main things we wanted to see in the Lake District, besides just the landscape and scenery itself. It was a charming little farm, but you weren't allowed to pictures of the inside of the house. So you will have to content yourself with pictures from around the farm and the outside of the house.
We encountered several traffic jams while in the northern part of England. The roads are so narrow that there were a couple times that there would be two buses trying to pass each other and there simply wasn't room for the width of both buses.
