Warick Castle

Warick Castle! This was our first official castle of the trip. It is one of the castles that our ancestors lived in and we figured we wouldn't spend all day looking at Shakespeare sites, so it was the perfect compliment to all of the Shakespeare locations in Stratford-Upon-Avon. The grounds were BEAUTIFUL, and we had a lot of fun at the Castle. There was the tiny, winding, steep staircase that we got to climb, with the LOW doorway.

Ancestral surname.

Ditto.

Another ancestral surname.

The doorway WAS low!

I feel like I am kind of reliving this trip going through these pictures, which I LOVE, and also wanting to go back even more than I usually do! The travel bug is constantly with me.
